In line with the Spring season, I thought about making a post about blooming in life. We all go through it. We all have different times of blooming.I have always bloomed in my own direction. It has been a struggle for me and the people around me. My mindset is usually out of the box and I don’t even mind. I will always make room for others but I will be who I am. Looking back now, none of that matters. Those people are not even a part of my daily life anymore. The pressure to bloom all that the same time literally creates a robot mindset. I don’t know about you but I like to think on my own.
One thing I will say is bloom in your own direction not what society tells you. There’s sometimes somewhat a disconnect between the older and younger generation about blooming. The way the older generation bloomed can be contrary to what the younger generation is experiencing. For example, a young girl might be into sports but is pressured by the older generation not to pursue it. I find it interesting sometimes how you are pressured into leaving/ totally abandoning what you excel in. Still baffles me to this day.
My thoughts are all over the place but I’m just saying bloom at your pace. There are flowers which bloom in Summer, others in Winter and so on.
PS: I graduated on Saturday , all I can think about right now is going home.
